All systems prepare for launch!
Hello World! This is my development blog for the game Blast Pulser. I've already started working on it and I think it's coming along pretty nicely.
Now, see, normally, this would the part where I have nothing to show you, and if I'm lucky you sign up for a mailing list or something before clicking away, and then it's this horrendous effort on my part to try and lure you back through some sort of desperate social media blitz.
But then I thought, what the heck, I've been working on this for three months. I've got a minimum viable product going. Why not let people just play it? It's the indiepocalypse, after all. I've literally got nothing to lose.
And then I thought, normally the way this works is, you'd put out a game at a certain price, then have sales later on. Why not turn that model on its head and give early adopters a discount?
So, here's the deal. Right now the minimum price is zero. When I think it's worth charging for, I'll increase the minimum price to a buck. And then I'll keep increasing it by $1 with each significant update. This way I'm incentivized to keep updating, and you're incentivized to get it as soon as possible. Sound good?
